About twelve years ago I was recommended a book called “Crazy Sexy Diet.” After reading this book, I started focusing on my nutrition and what I was putting into my body. I began to incorporate more Whole Foods and cut out processed junk. When it comes to taking care of your body, consuming fresh and organic food plays a vital role. Not only does it aid in digestion and keeping your stomach flat, but it’s also rich in fiber and vitamins, which allows your body to process food more efficiently while preventing the accumulation of harmful toxins. I started juicing and detoxing my body.
More recently, I diversified my workout routine. Instead of just doing the same old exercises, I started incorporating new ones and challenging myself with different types of workouts like HIIT, yoga, and Pilates. I made coffee enemas a part of my weekly routine and will share more on those soon!
Pilates and band work has changed my body. I started with just 20 minutes of Pilates with bands and I couldn’t believe the change in my body. I really wanted to keep a slim and feminine figure and bands give your body the perfect mix of definition and still staying soft. I walk that fine line of keeping a little fat/muscle to try to stay a little younger looking. When you lose all the fat and replace it all with muscle, to me it makes you look older, in my opinion.
My typical workout week is 20-30 minutes of Peloton hiit rides and 20 minutes of Pilates. 10 minutes of waist slimming Pilates has really slimmed and defined my waistline. I will be sharing more secrets along the way too. I workout consistently 4-5 times a week. I will be sharing more of my daily eating habits too. I hope this helps and gets you thinking of ways you can update your routine!
Overall, these changes have made all the difference in my fitness journey. Not only do I feel better and more energized, but I have seen the results I have been working towards for years. It just goes to show that sometimes small changes can make a big impact.
